Hi there!
Here we go with the first patch! This one comes with several visual and audio fixes.
Just a reminder: the goal of the first few patches will be to polish and fix the game's existing content to ensure the best possible experience with the current version of the game.
I won't be releasing updates after reaching specific goals. Instead, I'll release them from time to time whenever I feel like I have something significant to add or fix.
After that, I'll start introducing the new content that I didn't manage to include in the initial release.
Let's go!
Main Menu Fixes
● When using certain game languages, for some reason the big "DEMO" label was still showing up, as if this were still the demo version. I swear I had removed it, but apparently it has a life of its own.
● Also, in every version, the bottom bar was showing "Demo V.1.1", which was the latest version of the demo. This has now been changed to "V.0.?", because I have absolutely no idea what version we're on.
Character Selection Menu Fixes
● Some of the character stat boxes were not displaying correctly, or weren't appearing at all, when certain languages were selected. Hopefully, this is fixed now.
● The whole issue of which characters are available was causing quite a bit of confusion, so I've added the following icons to hopefully make things clearer for players.
Just in case you need a reminder: you can unlock them by completing Arcade Mode, or, if you are so impatient, you can edit the Stats.json file with a text editor and change the "Clear" parameter under Arcade Mode to 5. The file can be found in the "Saves" folder.
